Supreme Court Raids Human Rights Commission Offices Over Cooking Oil Probe

On Monday, March 9th in Jakarta South and Surabaya respectively, the Supreme Court of Justice (Kejagung) raided both Ombudsman RI headquarters at Jalan Rasuna Said and a commissioner's residence to investigate alleged obstruction regarding oil rendering cases involving three corporations.

    The Indonesian Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) raided the Ombudsman RI office in Jakarta on Monday, March 9th.

    Investigators from Jampidsus are conducting an investigation into alleged obstruction of justice and prosecution regarding a case involving three corporations related to cooking oil exports.

    In addition to the main building at Jalan Rasuna Said, investigators also raided one commissioner's residence during this operation.
