Former Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin has officially submitted a letter of appeal to rejoin the party following his visit with President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi during the blessed 26th night (Laylatul Qadr). Zambry Karim stated that UMNO's Supreme Council would process this request swiftly after meeting Khairy on March 15. In a separate Facebook post, KJ expressed hope for his original membership number to be restored and requested consideration from party leadership regarding the withdrawal of previous disciplinary actions against him under Rumah Bangsa guidelines.
