2Pastorice's father, born at Leipzig Zoo (Germany), and his mother from Amsterdam were paired to produce offspring that will be raised by their Croatian parents since they are not adapted for breeding wild birds like sword-billed hornbills.
-
3The newborn is described as a 'little devil' who has already caused chaos in the zoo.
-
4Experts at Zagrebian Zoo have been conducting research on this species, which was previously unknown to be bred successfully outside of its native habitat.
