A known Russian "matrjoskha" botnet has launched a new operation targeting the upcoming Hungarian parliamentary elections by exploiting tensions between Hungary and its neighbor. Panyi Szabolcs, an expert on foreign influence operations in Central Europe from 24.hu, confirmed that this network utilizes Ukraine-related disinformation to manipulate public opinion within Budapest's political sphere as of March 15th at a time when such activities are increasingly common across the region
