South Korean authorities have declared a national martial law following widespread demonstrations against the president's judicial reform bill that threatens to strip judges' tenure protections from their lifetime appointments for life terms or until age 70 on March 14 at midnight in Seoul as well across other cities throughout Korea including Gwangju and Daejeon.
