Nanya Technology Corp. announced on March 25 that it has raised over NT$78 billion in a private placement by introducing major global memory chip manufacturers including the U.S.-based company Sandisk (SanDise), Japanese firm Kioxia (KIOXIA, formerly Toshiba Memory) and South Korean SK Hynix alongside its existing partner Samsung. This capital raise involves 351 million shares of stock to support Nanya's expansion into high-performance memory markets following the industry-wide shift toward DDR4 technology standards adopted by major PC makers like Dell in late February.
